"Unlock Cloudflare challenges"
SolvedDramirg -
Hello,
all of a sudden, on several websites, I get this message:
"Unlock challenges.cloudflare.com to continue."
I understand that it's an equivalent of captchas, but how can I get rid of it?
Thank you
Best regards

Does anyone also have this issue when trying to connect to the "Yellow Pages" app? I can access the app, but when I try to log in, it says "To help us combat certain cyber attacks, please complete the following 'challenge.' Unlock challenges.cloudflare.com to continue"...

Yes, this is indeed a national (and even global) issue related to Cloudflare, not directly to ChatGPT. Here’s what’s happening:
???? Why is this message appearing?
Since late morning (November 18), Cloudflare, a major player in Internet infrastructure, has been experiencing a significant outage. Cloudflare manages security, performance, and protection against attacks for millions of sites, including ChatGPT.
When Cloudflare goes down, the sites that depend on it display errors or challenges such as:
“Unlock challenges.cloudflare.com to continue.”
This message is related to Cloudflare’s verification system (captcha) which is not functioning correctly due to the outage. [sortiraparis.com]
✅ Impact
- Many sites are affected: ChatGPT, X (Twitter), Slack, Canva, Doctissimo, Marmiton, some banking services, online games… [numerama.com]
- Symptoms: 500 errors, pages that don’t load, captcha stuck, access denied.
- The outage started around 12:30 PM, peaked around 1 PM, and recovery is ongoing but remains unstable. [infos-nantes.fr]
There is a worldwide outage of Cloudflare, so the user can't do anything; it's the host that has a problem!
