Update "Windows apps" and cleaning question

Hello,

is it really worth updating to .exe etc. the apps on Windows like, for example, LibreOffice or Adobe PDF? Are there really bug fixes or things that will affect the autonomy or the PC?

I also have a second question. Considering that there are two profiles on the computer, so on the second profile there are also the apps, is it worth it on my non-administrator Windows 11 25h2 profile to delete the unnecessary apps like Camera, Remote Desktop, French Local Experience Module, the AMD app, the microphone, etc.? Will this also affect the PC or not? Thank you.

Hello,

There is an expression in English that says "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it.

Disable the automatic startups of anything that isn’t useful with Autoruns,

You can go through the automatic startup software to ensure that everything running is useful with Autoruns, Services.msc, and Process Explorer.

Download Autoruns here, extract everything into a new folder anywhere, and run it as an administrator.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns

If there are error messages, try version 13.98 (Be careful to download Autoruns.zip, not adware from the host)

https://filehippo.com/fr/download_autoruns/13.98/

Check all the details, do some research if needed.

In the "Logon" (Run Registry, Startup) and "Scheduled Tasks" tabs, disable or remove unnecessary third-party items from automatic startup that are not by Microsoft or essential Windows components, either by unchecking them or by right-clicking > Delete.

Check the "Services" tab, but do not disable them if they are sometimes useful, it’s better to set them to "Manual" (On demand) with Windows' services.msc, by right-clicking the Start button > Run: services.msc

With Autoruns we have the list of Non-Windows services, it helps a lot.

Changes will take effect upon restarting Windows.

After restarting, with Process Explorer run as an administrator, you should only see mostly Microsoft Corporation processes

And even more by disabling almost everything that is recommended to disable (Except App Notifications) by the program O&O ShutUp10++
