Hello,

My wifi keeps disconnecting all the time on my HP laptop. I go on the browser and then to a website, and 1 minute later my wifi disconnects; sometimes it reconnects 2 minutes later and then starts again, etc. However, the driver is up to date. This happens on any wifi network.

    Hello,

It works on any wifi network and the driver is up to date

Is it possible that the card is defective?

    Try a usb wifi adapter.

I have the same issue as you, random disconnections on an HP laptop:

    Device name    LAPTOP-N2D2PE4D
Processor    AMD Ryzen 3 5300U with Radeon Graphics          (2.60 GHz)
Installed RAM    8.00 GB (7.33 GB usable)
    Edition    Windows 11 Home
Description:    Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter
    Driver version:    2024.10.229.0

All other devices on the network connect perfectly.
If I use my phone's connection, it becomes stable without any interruptions.
    Driver recently updated.

Is this enough to rule out any software issues and blame the hardware?

    Thanks for your answers.

    Hello,

on a a laptop, it is possible that after a fall the internal antenna may be damaged.

What does the signal measurement give by the command netsh wlan show interfaces? The level is indicated on the RSSI parameter, for example -61 dBm in this example:

There is 1 interface on the system: Name: Wi-Fi Description: Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz GUID: 0dd7a875-192f-4e84-b3c9-34cc6be695aa Physical address: 34:2e:b7:4a:62:17 Interface type: Primary State: connected SSID: PA2 Access point SSID (Service Set Identifier): 9c:53:22:32:9a:f3 Band: 5 GHz Channel: 36 encryption Akm connected: [ akm = 00-0f-ac:08, encryption = 00-0f-ac:04 ] Network type: Infrastructure Radio type: 802.11ax Authentication: WPA3-Personal (H2E) Encryption: CCMP Connection mode: Automatic connection Reception (Mbits/s): 1297 Transmission (Mbits/s): 1153 Signal: 82% Rssi: -61 Profile: PA2 QoS MSCS configured: 0 QoS card configured: 0 QoS mapping allowed by policy: 0

    And there you go ....

But goodness, how annoying the line spacing is!!

For my part, my PC did indeed suffer a fall in 2022, the disconnections appeared in 2024.
When I execute your command, a black window opens and then closes immediately :/

Are there any sensitive information to blur in the signal?

    Thank you.

      Where do you type this?

You need to open a command line window first, or execute (Windows key + R) and type in the input area cmd /k

I was able to enter your command and I get this:

"There is 1 interface on the system:
The commands of the network command interpreter require location authorization to access WLAN information. Enable location services on the Location page in Privacy and Security settings.

Here is the URI of the Location page in the Settings app:
    ms-settings:privacy-location
To open the Location page in the Settings app, hold down the Ctrl key and then select the link, or execute the following command:
    start ms-settings:privacy-location

Or, to open the Location page from the Run dialog, press the Windows key + R, then copy and paste the above URI.

The WlanQueryInterface function returns error 5:
The requested operation requires elevation (Run as administrator)."

I have enabled the location service, but I still get the same message :s

You need to open the cmd window with administrator rights.
