Hello/ good evening;

I am leaving this post because my goddaughter has a Nintendo Switch. She wanted to download the game Rocket League, and when the download finished and she tried to launch the game, it asked her to pay €11.99! Normally the game is 100% free!? If you have the how and the why, I'm interested. Thank you in advance.

You are mistaken, it is not free!

What you need to know

This content is sold by Nintendo of Europe SE. The payment will be made with Nintendo eShop credit registered on the Nintendo account used to complete the purchase.

It is the download of the game that is free, but not the game itself.

Hello,

Rocket League is indeed a free game, you can play it without having to pay anything.

There are in-game purchases that allow you to get extra items, but you do not have to make any purchases to play the game.

I downloaded the game on my Switch to check, but there is absolutely nothing that asks for €11.99. Could you send a screenshot of Rocket League to get an idea of what that might be?
