Thunderbird derails

I use Thunderbird as my email client. For the past 2 or 3 days, messages have been arriving in HTML format and are unreadable, whereas previously they were in a normal format that allowed me to sort them. What happened? Furthermore, since I've configured Thunderbird to delete messages after saving them to my computer, I can't know who or what this message contained... help!

    Hello,

    I don't know what you might have changed to cause the display issue.

    Please check the following:

    1) If you don't have the menu bar, right-click at the top of the screen to display it.

    2) Then click on View.

    In the View menu, select Normal Headers and the Body of the message in original HTML.

    What we clearly conceive can be succinctly stated,
    And the words to say it come easily.

    Re;

    It may be an issue with Bitdefender and Orange.

    Bitdefender is included in the Orange security suite.

    I just noticed that everything is indeed back! Thank you very much because it allowed me to wait since I had mistakenly configured Thunderbird to delete the message after it was received on my machine! I would never have been able to find those messages again.... especially the important ones! I managed to see your reply and I waited!

    What happened? Did this only concern the Bretons? (wink)
