Installation/First Run Issues

Hello!
When I start an installation, it takes a long time just to open, but it installs correctly. The same goes for games; the first launch also takes a long time, but subsequent launches are normal.
When I go to the task manager, I can see the apps/installations open, and they use little RAM at first, but as time goes on, it takes more and more (even if some can be very long), and once it uses the RAM it should normally use, the app/installation/game launches correctly without any errors.
For example, for Valorant: it took 20/25 minutes just to launch the first time, but now it takes 20/30 seconds.
Currently, I'm completely stuck trying to install applications like VLC or Nighty, and on Steam, I can't launch certain games because I'm stuck on installations for DirectX or others because it takes too long, like everything else.
I've tried several solutions that unfortunately haven't resolved anything:
-sfc scannow (found nothing) -dism thing (found nothing) -Restarting installation services in services.msc -Disabling antivirus -Updating drivers -Updating Windows I really need help because I'm studying web/web mobile development and I constantly need to install new things, and this is going to be very annoying.
Here are my specs:
-Windows 11 Pro (build 26100) -MSI Z790 Gaming Plus Wifi -Intel Core i7-12700K -Geforce RTX 5070 -Corsair Vengeance 2x16 DDR5-6000 -WD_BLACK SN850X 1TB 1 réponse
Hello,
Perform a repair without data loss, download the ISO file
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11
When you have the ISO file, right-click > Open with > Windows Explorer
Then click on the setup.exe file in the folder.
Follow the instructions to "install" without deleting everything, ensuring that the green checkmarks indicating that you are keeping everything are checked.
Thank you for the reply.
I have software that is locked by HWID, will that not cause issues with them later when I want to use them?
locked by HWID
I don't understand what you mean.
After a repair, however, you may receive a message that HWID is no longer available.
But I still don't understand, despite the coincidence with the message I received when I did it (HWID is no longer available) it seems to me.
Basically, I have software that is locked by HWID (Hardware ID). If the HWID changes, the software becomes unusable and I have to contact support to request a reset. A PC reset, a component change, or anything else changes the HWID, and I would like to know if the process you provided changes the HWID or not.
The Hardware ID should remain the same, the activated software should stay activated.
It's like an update.
Maybe I confused HWID and HWInfo, which is removed during the update or repair installation.
The reinstallation via ISO worked and my HWID hasn't changed. My problem is resolved, I was able to install VLC in less than 15 seconds. Thank you very much for the quick response!
