Hello,

It's normal for it to come back by itself, the problem was with google.com (Gmail...) servers.

Hello,
Well, nothing is in the title!
With such a vague request, how do you expect to get help!
Gmail runs through a browser unless you are using a smartphone... and there, of course, we don't know!
So what are you stuck on?
Hello and thank you,
I'm stuck on opening emails. I can see my emails, but I can't open any of them. I'm using Firefox. It's only the reading of emails that's impossible. I can't tell you more.
I'm on a Windows 10 desktop. Sorry, I hadn't reached out to you in a while, and before, the subscriber's digital identity appeared under the question. I checked my profile information and I wasn't cautious!
Good evening and thank you. Nonetheless, the previous respondent should have at least replied. This troubleshooting site has not accustomed me to this. However, he must be a regular, since I have been here since 2007, and he since 2009. A bit of a heat wave, perhaps. It’s true that I wasn’t very explicit, but....
I wish you a lovely evening and thanks again for your message
Best regards
Hello,
I remain puzzled by your comment. I don't want to engage in a semantic debate, but CCM is a support site, not a troubleshooting service, provided that customer support teams respond to client requests.
In my view, the difference is that nobody is obligated to respond, and NonoM45's request for clarification could enable any contributor to help find a solution, especially if, for example, they are not familiar with Firefox and its issues (which is my case).
Furthermore, having monitored CCM daily for nearly 15 years, I can confirm that there is a significant proportion of users who are victims of these outbursts, who disappear as soon as we ask them a question to try to understand their problem, which is often posed in a more than subliminal way.
So, it's up to each individual to consider that they have access to interlocutors, but it seems somewhat inappropriate to expect volunteers on a forum to resolve all problems, especially when they turn out to stem from temporary issues with the service provider.
Hello,
Indeed, the potential malfunction may vary depending on whether one is using an application on a smartphone, webmail on a smartphone or a computer, or email software on the latter (this is the most complicated scenario due to two-factor authentication), and the request for clarification seemed normal to me.
Once it is clarified that it is Firefox, this is only possible if the Google account is properly identified, which is obviously the case, otherwise one wouldn't even be able to open Gmail; there remains a potential blockage by an extension, a script manager, a VPN... but no one is a magician when the parties involved are not exposed.
We cannot expect someone to have the gift of divination regarding something that has returned to normal by itself and is therefore probably a server outage.
