Hello,
living in Belgium, I bought an outdoor repeater from Wavlink, in the configuration I need to connect to http://ap.setup or 192.168.10.1 but I can't connect, it tells me:
This site is inaccessible
192.168.10.1 took too long to respond.
Here are some tips:
- Check the connection
- Check the proxy and firewall
In the past, this forum has already helped me a lot, thank you in advance

Hello,
Some users have reported similar difficulties, particularly after the initial setup, where the repeater seems to be working but does not provide Internet access. This may be due to incorrect SSID/password configuration or excessive distance between the repeater and the main router. Make sure the repeater is placed halfway between your router and the area to be covered, with a Wi-Fi signal strength of at least 40%.
The default IP address for Wavlink devices is usually 192.168.10.1 or http://wifi.wavlink.com (and sometimes http://ap.setup). If 192.168.10.1 does not work, try http://wifi.wavlink.com or http://ap.setup in your browser.
Hello, thank you for your response. The repeater for the configuration is next to my router, but none of the links you provided work; it's always the same thing:
This site is unreachable.
wifi.wavlink.com took too long to respond.
Here are some tips:
- Check the connection
- Check the proxy and firewall
Personally, I don't know what to do anymore.
Hello,
You don't say it, but you first need to connect it via ethernet or to its original wifi network. At that moment, it's normal not to have internet access because you're on an isolated device until you configure it to connect to the box.
You can also link it to the box via the WPS of the box, but you need to have control over what you're doing.
And there you go....
But misery, how annoying the line spacing is!!
Hello, the repeater is detected via my smartphone, my tablet, and my PC. The rest of the configuration I need to access through http://ap.setup or 192.168.10.1. That's where the problem arises; whether it's Google Chrome or Firefox, nothing happens and it says this:
This site is unreachable
192.168.10.1 took too long to respond.
Here are some tips:
- Check the connection
- Check the proxy and the firewall
