Livebox 7 and nextdns

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a bit of help if possible. I had configured nextdns on my old box from another provider, and since last week I switched operators and now have a Livebox 7. But the problem is that I can't find any option to use nextdns with it. I go through all the settings and find nothing. I also wanted to enable MAC filtering but that’s impossible too... Is it normal that these options, which are standard with other providers, are not available with Orange? Can someone please help me? Maybe there’s a hidden mode or advanced settings that need to be activated...

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to directly modify the DNS servers on a Livebox 7 (or any other recent Livebox, such as 4, 5, or 6) via the box's administration interface. Orange locks this feature by default for security reasons and to ensure the proper functioning of their services, such as digital television.

    If you want to change the DNS, you will need to do it individually on each device used.

    Ugh, Orange is internet done the Chinese way, it reminds me of their old ad, internet by Orange.

    If possible, you can add an external DHCP server to the box (and disable the one on the box).

    You can also install a DNS resolver at home

    And there you go, there it is ....

    But misery, those line spaces are such a pain !!
