Hello, I have a Canon TS7450i multifunction printer and I am unable to use the scanner, it is not recognized.

Do you have a solution to offer me as I need it for work?

Thank you in advance

No. When I open the scanner, it says: we have not detected your scanner. Connect it to your PC. Or access? The settings. Of the PC.

It's been frustrating me since yesterday, I've tried everything.

      Hello,

First of all, if it was connected to the computer without any further ado, Windows at best recognized only the printer drivers.

Have the drivers and software been installed?

In terms of printing, there is no problem. It's the scanner that isn't working.

We don’t know what you did, but that's exactly what I'm implying.

If the printer is connected to the PC and Windows has recognized a print driver, without installing the scanning drivers and software it will only print.

The connectivity cannot be blamed unless we unsuccessfully try to scan from the printer's control panel via a Wifi connection that hasn’t been set up, but this connectivity is valid otherwise we wouldn't be able to print.

The day before yesterday it was working perfectly, yesterday morning I turned on my PC, no more scanner!

We don't know anything more, we don't know if it is connected via USB or WiFi, in which case for some obscure reason the connection could be blocked by a firewall or something equivalent.

Otherwise, uninstall and reinstall the relevant software.

My printer, on the other hand, works very well with Wi-Fi

    Hello,

The day before yesterday it was working very well

Perform a system restore and choose a date prior to the problem.

    Windows + R
    Type --> rstrui.exe and OK.

      Hi,

Just in case, is the printer still under warranty?

Have you checked the purchase date on your receipt which serves as your warranty?

Have you tried reinstalling the printer with this driver --> PIXMA TS7450i ?

Launch the driver setup --> win-ts7450i-1_1-n_mcd.exe
    Follow the instructions.
