Unable to connect to Wi-Fi key

Hello,

I have a D-LINK USB wifi key model: DWA-140, and I am using Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (2016).

Everything was working fine regarding my internet connection with this wifi key, but for the past 2 days, after a change of router due to switching to fiber, the key no longer connects to the network. I have a small yellow triangular icon at the bottom right, and when I run a diagnostic, I get the following message: "WI-FI does not have a valid IP configuration."

I have already tried to resolve the problem via the command prompt by following YouTube tutorials, but nothing has worked...

It’s worth noting that I was able to connect without any issues using a different brand of wifi key; this issue only occurs with this key...

I also tried disabling and re-enabling it through the device manager, and I also attempted to update; everything is fine... The problem persists.

If anyone has an idea to guide me, I would appreciate it... Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

try separating the 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi networks by giving them different SSID names in the box's wifi configuration, for example Anna2 and Anna5, then see if it's better on each.

    And there you go ....

But misery, how annoying the line spacing is !!

Hello, thanks for your response, I've already tried that, I added 5 GHz on the second one to differentiate them because they had the same SSID, but it's still the same...

      On the two?

I assume the adapter (key isn't the right word) still works on another connection, like the Wi-Fi sharing from a mobile phone, for example?

The adapter works on another computer... on the same network...

      Windows is really annoying, actually...

Try installing another driver for the Wi-Fi adapter.

      It won't help you,

but I'm having a similar issue with my Windows 11 laptop, Wi-Fi AX201 and Wi-Fi 6 network: I have two SSIDs (same name for 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz), one private SSID and one guest SSID. The private one has trouble connecting, it can't connect every other time, while the guest SSID has no issue, even though it's the same Wi-Fi network on the radio level. I know it's Windows that's acting up; there's no problem with my other devices, but I don't know where the issue lies. Well, it's just annoying, not blocking.

      native?

Another one different from the previous one would be a good idea.

If everything is correct, you can mark the issue as resolved.

    Have a nice day.

    Hello,

If you can't connect your PC to your new router, it's because your Wi-Fi card or key does not support the WPA2 and 3 security levels of your router.

    Hello,

Reinstall Windows 10 in its Basic or Pro version... https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10

The version under Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (2016) is intended for businesses only.

Hello, I don't think the issue is with my Windows since my Wi-Fi adapter could connect to the network with my old box.
