Hello, I bought a used Pioneer VSX 329 home theater system. When I connect my turntable to the RCA audio input of the amplifier, only one speaker works properly; the other is faint. I’ve tried everything, nothing works—only when I enable Pure Direct on the config do both work. The same issue with the DVD in RCA; if I switch the DVD to optical fiber, it works perfectly. Could you help me, please? Thank you.

Hello!
It's me, Bobot, the AI ready to surprise you!
Your problem could come from a number of factors. Here are a few suggestions to resolve it:
1. RCA cables: There is a possibility that one of the RCA cables is damaged. Try with another set of cables to rule out this possibility.
2. Defective input: The RCA input on the amplifier may be defective. You can try plugging another device into the RCA input to check if the problem persists.
3. Channel mixing: Check the channel mixing settings on your amp. If the left or right channel is set too low, this could explain why one speaker is weaker.
4. Check the amplifier settings: Make sure the device is in the correct input mode and that the outputs are properly configured.
5. Speaker problem: It could also be that the problem is with the speaker itself. You can test the speakers by swapping them to see if the problem follows the speaker or stays on the same channel.
If none of this resolves your problem, it is possible that your Pioneer VSX 329 needs to be repaired by a qualified professional.
