Hello Patoune89
However, the browser of the Vidaa OS supports many standards: HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, UI Framework, but I am not exactly sure what Netflix needs...
You can try to "cast" a smartphone or PC to the screen of the Hisense (meaning "project" the screen of a device to the Hisense TV), you just need to ensure that all devices are connected to the same internet network.
You need to enable the function in the TV settings.
But the Netflix subscription with ads depends on your account; if you already have an existing account created on another device, entering the same account on the Netflix App of the Hisense TV should give you access to the same subscription.

Hello Patoune89
Isn't it rather the Hisense H55MEC3350, there is no 59" at Hisense...
The Hisense H55MEC3350 is a Smart TV with Vidaa OS, a simple press of the "home" button (in the shape of a house) on the remote switches to the browser. You can also access it through the "Source" (input) button.
But you need to be connected to the internet either by Wi-Fi or RJ45 cable, the Wi-Fi connection is done through the TV menu.
See you later
Hello Super Mario, thank you for your response. My question was poorly phrased. I was looking to bypass the Netflix app installed by default on this television.
Indeed, access through the Home button, which leads to the bouquet of installed applications, titled Premium, then the store, etc... I understand all that well.
But the Netflix app on this TV did not ALLOW ME to open the discounted subscription, WITH ADS.
SO, it wouldn’t open my account and proposed to change my subscription.
This is something I do not want, it’s too expensive for me.
Yesterday, I therefore opened A browser in the proposed applications installed on this smart TV, I ENTERED 'Netflix com URL.
And I finally clicked on log in, thinking I had succeeded in my trick, and then it opened a WHITE SCREEN..... No way to get an image. That was my problem. Since I am persistent.
I am still wondering if installing a PC tower, running Windows or Linux (I have both), connected via HDMI, to access the Internet, would allow me to receive my discounted Netflix on this TV.
There you go, it was nice of you to reply to me. I should mention I am 72 years old????
Hello,
I haven't used Netflix for a while.
Indeed, a PC is one solution, but it’s not necessarily easy to implement (the physical position of the TV and the PC for the length of the HDMI cable and its bulk, the reality of duplicating the PC screen on the TV).
In this context, it might be better to go with a Chromecast?
If the TV is connected to a decoder that is itself connected to a Box, we can subscribe to the plan with the operator.
There’s also casting from a smartphone, but I believe the ad-supported offerings can't be cast to a TV.
