Hello***

Every time I open Outlook it is in English; I change the language in the settings to French (France), I confirm it goes to French and then returns to English a moment later.
What should I do?

Thank you***

    Hello

Not sure if that's it, there are Windows versions whose original installation came from a more "English" or "US" version than on other PCs. There can also be programs or options installed in English on the PC. I've never looked too far to fix it when I know there are programs available only in English; this also happens for others besides Outlook.

See what happens by disabling/enabling fast startup for a sufficient time during the manipulations/tests.

I've already reinstalled programs with no apparent connection, a browser even if I haven't used it.

If there's a link with Google, Microsoft, or any platform, good luck.

      Hello,

The situation is most often related to Outlook itself, but with Microsoft's regrettable habit of designating several different things by the same name (it would be necessary to specify what is meant by Outlook), the causes can vary.

      The most frequently mentioned are:

-incorrect time zone on a Microsoft account

-Use of an Exchange server (therefore more likely via Office) where the language is that of the first program accessing it, for example an antivirus; it would then be necessary to execute:

      Outlook /ResetFolderNames

-Outlook obediently takes the language of the first server created, the problem will likely occur if it's hotmail or gmail instead of say Orange: recreate the accounts, Orange first.

Some have suggested messing around with MFCMAPI, a bit tricky, at your own risk:
