Default EEPROM or other solution for mechanical reset

Hello!

I have an EPSON XP-2100 SERIES printer.

I had printing issues (offset lines, gaps) and therefore attempted a cleaning of the print heads as well as an alignment of them via the Epson utility (utility shown in the picture below).

Since then, I feel that the print heads are too far from the sheet when it passes for printing. I am therefore left with blank pages.

It is impossible for me to perform a realignment of the heads again because during the test print that comes out during these tests, it results in a blank sheet, making it impossible to indicate to the software which line or pattern is printing correctly to re-adjust after this test.

I attempted a factory reset: no success.
Reset via third-party software (adjprogram and also WicReset): no success.
EEPROM reset via these 2 third-party softwares: no success, even with an EEPROM provided by another user.

The cleaning of the heads does not help.
The alignment doesn't either (as explained earlier).
Turning off/on does not help either.
Reinstalling the firmware does not help either.
Drivers are up to date.
EPSON ink cartridges.

What is strange is that when I perform the nozzle check via the Epson utility, the 3 "rectangles of different colors, filled with lines," print correctly. This is not the case during the head alignment using the same utility.

Do you have any idea for a solution?

Sincerely

    More ideas!

See a repairman or a new printer?

It’s up to you to make this decision, or you can wait for more opinions.

    Good luck.

Oh yes, I forgot to get back to this. I wonder if downloading the default EEPROM for this printer (by the way, where can I find that...) and installing it will help resolve this issue. I still believe it’s a bad setting on my part regarding the print heads, it worked perfectly before my mistake...

Epson can't help me either; they can only direct me to their service provider, to whom I need to bring the printer (not close to me + labor costs, might as well buy a new one...)

    Hello,

Download and install -->> Revo Uninstaller <<--
    Run it as administrator
Uninstall all products from the Epson printer
Follow the tutorial closely to uninstall everything properly, including residual folders and keys.
For the residual scan, check --> advanced mode
    Restart the PC.

    Download this driver -->> XP-2100 series <<--
Disconnect the USB cable from the PC
    Turn on the printer
Launch the driver setup --> epson636106eu.exe
Connect the cable to the PC as soon as prompted.

Hello, thank you for your quick response!

I followed each of the steps as indicated, reconnected the printer, printed a test page, but the issue remains the same :/

I did a head cleaning again + attempted to align the heads (without success).
