BitLocker encryption incompatible with locked hard drive

Hello,
I bought myself a new PC and I have a second internal hard drive from my first PC that ran on Windows 10 Pro, now on my new PC which runs on Windows 11 Pro.
I installed it without any problems and it worked for a few days, but then this disk became locked; I don’t know what the trigger was. Now I have a message that says: "BitLocker encryption on this drive is not compatible with your version of Windows. Try accessing the drive using a more recent version of Windows."
I’ve done the important updates, but I should note that I haven’t activated my version of Windows 11 Pro; I don’t know if that could be the cause.
I feel like Windows 11 encrypted my hard drive without asking me, and it's telling me that I don't have the correct version to unlock it even though it hasn't changed.
I haven't found a solution so far, I believe I have the BitLocker decryption key but since it’s not asking me for it, it’s useless for the moment.
Thank you very much for any help you could provide,

Hello
From a few cents to €10 at CDiscount and now even in large supermarkets.

Thank you for your response, that's kind,
it's just that I don't have a Windows key at the moment, if I can avoid it, that would be convenient for me, unless you know where to get one for free or at a low cost, especially since I'm not even sure that's what's preventing me from decrypting it.
I don’t know how it was encrypted, it happened automatically, but maybe there's a way to find out if it was done in compatibility mode or not,
Cdiscount offers cheap keys, or you need to use a card.
SharewareOnSale.com offers licenses that are relatively more expensive, but you can pay via PayPal (through an associated bank account) if you don't have a credit card.
I don't believe there is a way to know if it is in Compatibility mode, except that it doesn't open on all systems when not compatible.
I will try to recover the data by connecting it to the old PC, deleting the volume, creating a new one, and putting the unencrypted data back on it, or re-encrypting it with Windows 11.
Thank you for the response, I didn't know that we could have a version for so little money,
I activated my version of Windows but it has no impact on my problem.
However, your solution would make me lose my data, it's as if I were formatting it if I understood correctly, because the data that's on it I don't have a copy of, it's not present on my old PC and I actually want to recover it from the encrypted disk.
I had edited my message

Hello,
Quite so, especially since the manipulation is not clear; we assume that the new PC had no operating system, and besides the fact that the interest is not obvious, putting a "foreign" disk in without further ado to set up a dual boot will inevitably lead to issues.
Most of us have either updated to 24H2 or bought a PC that came pre-equipped with it, which eliminates the scenario where one installs it oneself and which would activate BitLocker by default, possibly causing issues; in such a case, it’s probably quicker to reinstall without BitLocker.
