Hello, I recently acquired a new TV (HISENSE 58A6N) but when I connect my desktop PC via HDMI, I get no signal.

Tests already performed (1-8)

  • Tested with several HDMI cables and multiple HDMI ports (on the TV side)
  • Works perfectly well with my old TV.
  • HDMI connection to the old TV then booting the PC to the Windows desktop, hot unplugging then plugging into the new TV = Image OK, Resolution OK, Refresh rate OK (VRR)
  • Tested with another more "powerful" power supply (just in case) = Same result.
  • Tested with the GPU in another PCIe slot = Same result
  • Tested with a DP to HDMI cable = Same result
  • Diverse tests by modifying the TV settings
  • HDMI connection of a laptop with a dedicated GPU (RTX 3050) = Works perfectly

I am losing hope day by day, especially since the PC works wonderfully when following step No. 3, which makes no sense...

For example, if I perform a simple restart while remaining connected to the new TV, the PC indeed restarts but without video signal, which does not happen with the old one...

Hardware:

  • RX 6750 XT Challenger Pro (1x HDMI, 2x DP)
  • New TV: HISENSE 58A6N (4K / 148 CM)
  • Old TV: THOMSON 40FD2S13W (1080P / 102 CM)
  • HDMI cable 2.1 / 4k / HDCP 2.3 / 48Gbps 2M

Additional notes:

  • No errors on the GPU during boot (LED), the PC boots well into the OS in the "background"
  • No integrated GPU (processor lacking graphics capabilities)

Hello,

And what brand is the PC, what model as well, what system does it integrate with?

First, check if your PC is compatible with the Hisense TV.
