Create a Facebook account FROM a Messenger account ONLY

Good evening,

My current situation in a few words: in connection with my various activities (hobbies), I was using a Messenger account ALONE.

My problem: the organizations for which I volunteer now exclusively use Facebook.

My questions:

- Is it possible to create a Facebook account from my existing Messenger account?

- If it's possible, will my contacts on Messenger be transferred to Facebook?

    Hello

    Messenger without Facebook no longer exists.
    In fact, only those who still had an active connection could access their old accounts without Facebook... you can no longer create new ones.

    Either you continue to use Messenger without Facebook and create a separate Facebook account (with a different number and a different email -> a Facebook account and a new blank Messenger will be created).

    Or you create a Facebook account with your current credentials, and the new account will overwrite the old one... (so you will lose the history of your current Messenger). Be careful, it is not possible to go back.

    Check in the Messenger settings if there is a way to make a backup (before creating an account, for safety).

      Suppose I create a Facebook account with my current Messenger credentials, can you tell me if my Messenger contacts will be incorporated into my new Facebook account? Will those contacts automatically be "friends"?

        Well no... I wrote it...

        -> if you create a Facebook account with your current credentials, it will overwrite your Messenger account... --> so everything will be empty, and you'll have to start everything from scratch... including adding friends.
