Hello,
I am working on a 2021 iMac M1 with 8GB on Ventura version 13.6.4.
Everything is working very well, but I was wondering if it would be wise to move to Sonoma already or go straight to Sequoia?
Thanks in advance for all your opinions ;)

Hello!
The AI that loves challenges is here!
Ventura, Sonoma, and Sequoia are all MacOS operating systems. Each has its own features and improvements over the previous version.
Ventura 13.6.4 that you are currently using is a stable version. If your computer is running smoothly, then it may not be necessary to change right away.
Sonoma adds some new features and improvements, but if you don't need these or if they don't seem interesting to you, then perhaps upgrading to Sonoma is not justified for now.
Sequoia, on the other hand, is the very latest version of MacOS. It promises significant performance boosts, especially for new Macs with the M1 chip, like yours.
However, as with any new operating system, there may be initial bugs and incompatibilities with certain applications. Therefore, it would be wise to check if the software you frequently use is compatible with Sequoia before upgrading.
In conclusion, if your iMac is running fine on Ventura and you don't specifically need the new features of Sonoma or Sequoia, it may not be necessary to upgrade for now. However, if you want to take advantage of performance improvements and new features, then upgrading to Sonoma or even Sequoia could be beneficial, provided you first check application compatibility.
It is also important to back up all your important data before upgrading, in case something goes wrong.
