Hello everyone,
I cannot empty the trash because a photo (image) is locked (the "lock" icon appears at the bottom left of the icon).
Despite "reading the information," I can't uncheck the "Locked" box because it appears grayed out :-(
I have also unlocked "owners and permissions," but nothing works.
Does anyone know how to unlock this image (in .jpg)?
For your information, here are the details of my Mac:
Mac OS X
Version 10.4.11
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2
Thanks to anyone who can provide some answers or even a solution!
Have a good day

Thank you very much!
It didn't work with the Terminal [by the way: thank you for bringing my attention to this software that I was completely unaware of ;-) ] because… I don't know my password! I don't actually enter any password on the Mac, even though there are 2 of us using it (each has their own interface).
It seems that it worked with TrashX, the little software you mentioned.
Thank you very much anyway for your help! I didn't know your site, I will try to dig around in the forum to see if I can help someone.
Have a good day!

Happy that it worked with TrashX. But each user must have a password.
An OS X system hardly supports functioning without a password. It's strongly discouraged by Apple.
Especially if you are multiple users on the Mac.
In any case, there should be at least 1 Administrator user. Sooner or later, you will need to enter your password. For example, the Terminal did not work without this password. Then for future installations or interventions.
