Is Range easy Job a scam?

Hello CCMeuses, CCMeux!

While playing scrabble, I come across an ad that invites me to win some money with an app called Range, tempting!

I install it via the Play Store.

There are several job offers for work from home.

At first, I was contacted by a WhatsApp number that gave me a Telegram link and a code.

I go on Telegram, an agent asks me to rate a hotel on Google Maps and leave a comment, and then send him a screenshot. I've done that, and he asks me to send him my CCP number to pay me for this task.

I refuse to send my number because it smells like a scam.

Can you be scammed by communicating your postal number? If so, how does the scammer proceed?

He didn't ask for money or a confidential code, but I find it very easy to receive money this way.

Thank you for enlightening me!

The objective of the task (given in the initial message) is to make fake comments on a website to boost (or sometimes degrade) a business, for example.
In this case, it is the business (or its competitor) that pays, and then your client pays you very little with the money they were given.
This is a scam involving fake comments.

      Thank you

So he will pay!!! Is there any risk of hacking my account with my CCP number?

I don't think hacking the account is a good idea.
After that, I'm not really sure what's possible with the bank details/IBAN, as I've never really looked into it, but I think it's in your best interest for it to be clean, even if his business is rather shady.

        Thank you

I will avoid dealing with this kind of employer

And I believe I did well not to share my bank details, even though I did an evaluation

He didn't ask me for confidential code or money to send him, so how can he extort me through the CCP number only?

Don't worry, without your bank details he can't do anything.
