Hello CCMeuses, CCMeux!
While playing scrabble, I come across an ad that invites me to win some money with an app called Range, tempting!
I install it via the Play Store.
There are several job offers for work from home.
At first, I was contacted by a WhatsApp number that gave me a Telegram link and a code.
I go on Telegram, an agent asks me to rate a hotel on Google Maps and leave a comment, and then send him a screenshot. I've done that, and he asks me to send him my CCP number to pay me for this task.
I refuse to send my number because it smells like a scam.
Can you be scammed by communicating your postal number? If so, how does the scammer proceed?
He didn't ask for money or a confidential code, but I find it very easy to receive money this way.
Thank you for enlightening me!

The objective of the task (given in the initial message) is to make fake comments on a website to boost (or sometimes degrade) a business, for example.
In this case, it is the business (or its competitor) that pays, and then your client pays you very little with the money they were given.
This is a scam involving fake comments. -
