A little while ago, my partner ordered a laptop battery on this site batterie-boutique.com.
I had a look and I find this site extremely suspicious. I'm sure it's a scam site, but I could be wrong....
Does anyone know it?

I bought a battery from "www.batterie-boutique.com" but after nine months, it no longer holds a charge. I therefore request a standard exchange under the 2-year legal warranty. However, here is the response from the company www.batterie-boutique.com:

Furthermore, I even realized that the voltage of the battery provided by the site for my PC Reference does not match the actual voltage of the old battery
EX: ASUS Eee PC 1001px voltage 19v
Battery provided by the site 11.1v (not suitable at all)
So I strongly discourage this site. And I advise you to go to a specialized store, it will be more prudent. -
Site used once for the purchase of a MacBook battery. Rather conclusive experience: product conforms to the description given on the site, very attractive price, delivery within a reasonable timeframe (one week). Impossible to judge the product's quality over time, but the very attractive price justifies taking the risk of inferior quality compared to much more expensive products. One last point: behind the name "batterie-boutique.com" is indeed an Asian (probably Chinese) company, but why would that be a problem as long as it complies with the usual commercial rules?

It's a scam, don't buy batteries on this site if, like me and other buyers, you want to purchase batteries or anything else, especially steer clear. If it doesn't recharge, you’ll be able to change it with a lot of difficulty and a lot of emails, for the price of €7.99 for shipping after already paying €41.98, and it still doesn't work. They won't refund you, which just happened to me (after checking my laptop, the charger and battery work). So batteries coming from China (Li Zhang) are worthless. The emails you send, they say it's not Battery Boutique that handles them, and they redirect you to another address that says the same thing. They pass the buck back and forth, you’re stuck with your issue, see the site forums. So there you have it, Battery Boutique is a scam.

but it’s battery without "s"-boutique.com that I’m looking for, I don’t know if it’s the same people; anyway, I forced my partner to cancel and we went elsewhere, a bit more expensive but more serious. My partner says he was reimbursed after retraction for the other site because he received an email saying he had been reimbursed, but there’s no proof, and he doesn’t want to show his bank statement, so I think he doesn’t dare to say that he hasn’t been reimbursed.-

I just ordered a battery for a screwdriver on their website. I received it, so no scam so far. I'm going to try it out and keep you updated.
However, for a MacBook or any Mac, it's to be avoided. Apple chargers are made to manage and regulate the voltage. If a non-Apple battery doesn't do this, it's the Mac that will take the hit. Personally, I'd rather spend €79 than lose €1000. And keep the receipt because the charger is guaranteed for 1 year by Apple, no matter where you buy it. Cheers!!! -

Yes, the site is located in Shanghai
After ordering, I found it a bit suspicious because their tracking link wasn't working.
So I immediately reported a dispute on PayPal to benefit from their "Buyers Protection"
Since then, they have sent me the correct tracking link and "something" has been sent to France.
Apparently the site is legitimate
But the fact that they chose the same name as an already existing French site doesn't inspire me with confidence at all.
However, if I receive a battery for MacBook Pro for €40, then I won't complain.-

Regarding the Chinese site, I ordered and received a laptop battery that was compliant. Great!
The catch: 6 months later it completely went dead (zero points: unplug power adapter => computer shutdown :(
They sent me a replacement for 6€ shipping costs, but it doesn’t charge at all.
For a month now, there’s been radio silence from them, despite their promise to help me.
So huge quality issues with this site.-

I unfortunately just fell victim to this site. They sent me a battery that was supposed to be compatible with my HP laptop. They sent me a battery that I did not order, which isn't even available on the site and, on top of that, it puts my laptop in safe mode.
Therefore, I can't even use it.
After completely fruitless email exchanges (to my questions and photos, they reply with preconceived answers that miss the point), they finally offered me to return the battery to China. This is crazy!
This will cost me more than just throwing it away.
I reported these practices on the official government website, but I don't know if it will make a difference.
