Use TeamViewer without an account

Hello,

How today (yesterday it was simple...) can I remotely access a computer without having a TeamViewer (TV) account?

Before, it was enough to open the TV Windows application, provide the ID of the person on the other end, and enter the password also provided by them.

Apparently, this has been replaced by a "complex system."

Thank you for your help.

    Hello.

The usage rules for TeamViewer have indeed tightened for free users, to avoid any issues, either get the paid version or use Anydesk.

      Hello bazfile

Thank you for your help, this confirms my "fears"...

I did indeed notice Anydesk but also Rustdesk
      Is the latter any worse?

      Thanks again

For Rustdesk, I have never tested it; Anydesk works very well and, in my opinion, is the closest to Teamviewer.

Less convenient but free, you have this and also this.

        Hello,

Other users here recommend NoMachine, I have also successfully used AnyDesk in the past, I have no shares.

It seems to me that remote control on Windows requires, in addition to a Microsoft account that you are not forced to have, a Windows Pro version.

except that anydesk does not work properly to control an android device, we have the image but are unable to control the device

and I do not want to create an account on teamviewer

I don’t know who marked this topic as resolved because it is not

Thank you for this other alternative.

If I understand correctly, is it from Microsoft?

      Thanks again
