Disabling motherboard LEDs when the PC is turned off.

Hello,

I'm reaching out to you out of desperation, as I have an Asus Prime X470 Pro motherboard with an Asus GTX 2080 Ti ROG-STRIX. Both of these components have RGB lighting that I can't turn off once the PC is shut down.

However, in the BIOS settings, the Aura settings are set to off and the ErP Ready is configured to S4+S5, and in the Armoury Crate software (which replaces Aura Sync), everything is set to "Dark".

Moreover, it seems very random; sometimes the LEDs are indeed off when the PC is shut down.

Any idea how to solve this issue? I'm tired of having to unplug my PC every time to avoid being lit up like in a nightclub when I want to sleep.

Thank you in advance.

Hello

Any idea on how to solve the problem?

It's an Asus.... so I would say.. normal.

Anyway.

the ErP Ready configured on S4+S5

You should try the other options.

Otherwise, cutting the power at the switch once the PC is off remains the radical but effective solution.

Indeed, turning off the power supply is what I do every time, but it forces me to move the tower each time because where it is located is not very accessible and I don’t have room to put it elsewhere.
