Archos 101e PB update and slow

Hello,

I bought an Archos 101e on BC and I have to say I got ripped off, not to mention having to redo the casing which was melted and sticky.

The tablet is extremely slow!

In fact, it takes an average of 15/20 seconds to launch an application, no point in thinking about launching two at once.

I have fiber Wi-Fi even sitting on the box, downloads are very long and some don’t even happen at all.

For example, the tablet's update says "connection to the server impossible, please check Wi-Fi."

Same for Play Store updates, it tells me to update Play Store services beforehand but downloading is impossible, even server issue.

I have access to Google, I'm logged into my account and it works, but if I take a page with a download and try to download from Google, it starts then suddenly pauses and specifies impossible.

The tablet heats up slightly during use, not too much of an issue, but during charging, it’s burning hot on the back side, charging obviously.

It has already been factory reset.

Do you have any suggestions?

I can’t get a refund because I redid the casing and the purchase was a week ago... So frustrating.

Thanks

    Hello,

What is BC?... Return it to where you bought it.

    Hello

Le Bon Coin seems to be a classifieds site for private individuals. We don't know who sold you the item.

The sale of refurbished second-hand devices is done by professionals and requires an accurate description of the items.

A little research shows a description not so different from yours in the end.

    Hello,

An x-year-old Android tablet, with 1GB of memory and 32GB of storage, is not a powerhouse. For performance, a factory reset provides the best it can offer.

    Good deal.

Unfortunately, I repainted the shell because when I got it, it was dirty and sticky (the non-slip velvet side of the shell was melted) so no more warranty.

He didn't describe it correctly, I told him I thought that apart from the shell there wouldn't be any issues. And well, wrong!

It's supposed to be a powerhouse, but right now it doesn't even update.

Connected to Wi-Fi, I have fiber just 2 meters from the box, but next to that, it barely downloads anything.

There should have at least been a software update; it dates back to 2016, but that's also impossible.

In my opinion, you can get rid of it.

The last operating system installed on this tablet is Android 5.1 Lollipop. No more updates for this version, which is too old.
