Hello,

I tried to install the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver application, and during this installation, files were automatically uninstalled. In the end, the Realtek application does appear in the list of programs and among the applications under the name Realtek Audio Control, but it is not the application that allows for more precise adjustments, especially with an equalizer and sound effects (hall, room, etc.). After restarting, I noticed that some files would no longer open because certain elements had been deleted (uninstalled). While doing some research, I found that this issue could be resolved by installing Microsoft Visual C++, but in the list of installed programs, I have the redistributable versions 2012, 11.0.61030 x64 and x86. I took the risk of installing the 2015-2022 version (64x 14.40.33810), and it worked. My call for help is partly to know whether these three Microsoft Visual programs can coexist or if I need to uninstall the 2012 versions, but more importantly, I would like to know where I can find the Realtek Audio Control with all the sound settings.

Thank you in advance

    Hello,

my question was addressed by the AI but not sufficiently, I was advised to download Realtek Audio Control from the Microsoft Store. I couldn't find it. However, I found FxSound on MS, installed it, and noticed that it is possible to adjust the sounds more precisely and that satisfied me.

    So my problem is solved.
