Scanning with HP F2480 printer

Solved

Hello,

For several years, I have been happily using an HP F2480 printer. But for the past week, I can no longer scan from my PC running Windows. The scanner is not found and the printer driver is unavailable. However, a photocopy works and the printer does too.

I restored the system to an earlier date, with no change. I can't find any website online to download the driver!

If any of you can help me, I thank you!

Have a great day

JP

    Hello

Indeed, other users have the same problem recently. I checked the responses and I still have the issue even when using "Fax and Scan".

It's a very old model reported as not working under Windows 10 and even less so under 11.

You can always go fishing on third-party sites claiming to have Windows 10 drivers, without much hope, or for the scanning part, use VueScan, which is paid.

    Hello

Yes, this model is not recent but still useful. I can't explain why the driver has disappeared, causing the scanning to malfunction. Since the system restore hasn't changed anything, I wanted to check out VueScan. But why always pay for a function that was satisfactory?

    Thank you for your help
