HP Smart can't find my printer

Hello bazfile! I opened the manual to set up my printer on Wi-Fi! But HP Smart can't find it... my printer is plugged in and turned on!

What should I do?

Hello,

OK. But I repeat that I only have this cable and I had the same one for my old HP printer, I don't have a USB cable. So I will look into connecting it via Wi-Fi, thanks again.

That said, I would buy a USB cable if the printer is not far from the PC, inexpensive and so much simpler.

HP+ printers are cloud-connected devices and must remain connected to the Internet to function. The Internet connection allows the printer to provide specific HP+ app features and firmware updates.
During setup, you need to connect the printer to the Internet via a supported network connection. After setup, you can print using a USB cable connection, if you wish. However, the printer must remain connected to the Internet.
