My HP printer keeps calibrating

Hello,
I have a small problem with my HP LaserJet 3600n printer that won’t print anymore and each time its panel shows "Calibration..." and it lasts for hours. I restarted it, I changed the cartridges, they are all new, but nothing
please help me
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 523.12.2

    Hello, I have a client who had the same problem, you need to clean the mirrors of the "laser-scanner" module; there are 2 of them that are facing upward and are accumulating dust.

    p.s. this is a pretty big job to do.

      I had to dismantle the left panel to access the linkage that aligns the laser shutter. One part was broken, with a bit of Loctite and a Phillips screwdriver the issue is fixed. Be careful when removing the top cover with the various wires connected underneath on the right. nothing else. :) good luck A+
