Scam Avast Premium Security Installation

Hello
Yesterday I fell victim to a security alert, alarm, and phone call request to resolve the issue... I was tricked, my computer was taken remotely, I paid €200, fortunately the attempt to complete for an additional €100 via PayPal failed.
I alerted my bank which blocked my card, and I have no other charges than the €200.
I did a cleanup with my antivirus and upon opening it, I noticed that Avast Premium Security was installed following that call with a subscription until 2027.
Is this true or a fake? Yet the antivirus is working and nothing else seems wrong.
Thank you for your help

Hello,
How do you expect us to know?
There are indeed Avast subscriptions with discounted rates for 1, 2, or 3 years, payable all at once or monthly; the price in the first case exceeds €200, so the scammer would have "worked" for nothing, and in the second case, there would be monthly withdrawals unless there is a change of card or if the bank has the right to oppose this particular withdrawal and has done so.
In any case, the question doesn't seem relevant to me: why would you want to keep this software which, like others, may have been installed without your full consent and under security conditions that we do not know (if I were the wrongdoer, I would have installed a pirated version, the return on investment is better).
Hello @Eldanield StatusMember.
Request a refund for your Avast subscription you'll always have that.
If the refund works, you can uninstall Avast with AvastClear.
If this mishap happens again, here are solutions to unblock the situation .

a hello, a response, a thank you are always appreciated.
Hello
In fact, the window telling me that I have a paid subscription is false according to what Avast says about the status of my subscriptions. Should I uninstall Avast and reinstall it? Clean my computer more thoroughly?
Thank you for your help
@Eldanield StatusMember .
If you don't have a subscription, uninstall Avast with AvastClear and then follow the steps below; you can always reinstall it later.
Download FRST .
Once downloaded, save it on the desktop, then right-click on FRST and select Run as administrator and you will see this:
Wait for the message the tool is ready to run to appear, then click Scan
Warning, wait for the messages saying that the scan is finished to appear.
At the end of the scan, you will have two text files on the desktop: FRST and Addition.
Then send the FRST and ADDITION reports to https://www.cjoint.com/ and provide the two links generated by https://www.cjoint.com/ in your reply.
Hello
I consulted a tutorial on how to use FRST and I’m afraid I might not be skilled enough to carry out the operation successfully.
While I wait for help from a more experienced friend, can I uninstall Avast and reinstall it temporarily?
Thank you for your help
@Eldanield StatusMember.
For FRST, just read and follow the instructions, it's not complicated, everything is clearly explained.
As for Avast, it's up to you; anyway, if you're on Windows 10 or Windows 11, Avast isn't very useful since both of these versions of Windows already have a built-in antivirus that is sufficient and effective, no need for Avast.

Hello and thank you,
In fact, I think the window telling me that I purchased a subscription is a fake, because when I go to my subscriptions on Avast, I see this window:
So I have indeed been scammed!
Should I uninstall Avast and reinstall it for safety?
Thank you for your help..
