Here is the message that appears on my HP laptop:

"The IMAP server free.fr has disconnected, it may have stopped or there is a problem with the network."

My email service is Thunderbird, which I have synchronized on my Samsung A12 Android phone and my Samsung Tab A SM T510 tablet.

    Hello,

    The first thing to do is to check that it is not a server outage by connecting to 
    https://webmail.free.fr/

    or https://zimbra.free.fr/  if you are using Zimbra.

    Furthermore, I wonder what you did on your mobile, as there is no version of Thunderbird for Android.

    On mobile, I recommend using Gmail which can centralize all your mailboxes and whose setup is automatic. 
    It's very simple; just go through the Gmail settings:

    The synchronization with the computer is automatic as the accounts are set up in IMAP by default.
    Give it a try!
