Where are you in the installation process?
If I can believe the instructions, the camera only works on 2.4GHz. Have you made sure that the location where you installed the camera receives the 2.4GHz signal from your router?

Yes yes, both are on the same frequency and on my box I can activate the absence of the 5mhz frequency for five minutes
The simplest way to be sure is to give a different name to the wifi source, for example Toff24MH for 2 MHz and Toff5MH for 5 MHz...
That being said, how far are you going in the procedure?
