I received a message from this number telling me that a payment was made with my bank card and to call a number if it wasn't me who made this payment. It's strange that a bank would send a text like that..

    Beware, this number 38975 is very often a scam, usually via SMS but it can also be by email.

    Do not call the number indicated in the message. Do not provide them with any personal information, especially not your card numbers, account numbers, and you should never be asked to enter or give your code through this means!

    Contact the number that your bank provided to you to block any transactions at any time, day or night, in case your bank card is stolen, for example. There will be someone on the phone to verify the information and establish the truth.

    Your bank card has been stolen? To block it, contact 09 69 39 92 91 (local call rate), available and at your service 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

    This is Crédit Agricole, they can see if any suspicious withdrawal has been made and if a message has been sent to you. If not, it is indeed a scam.

    This is not about blocking, just asking if the information is true. So do not call or respond to the SMS.

    When in doubt, contact your bank directly using the usual number... and definitely not the one provided in this SMS.

    In any case, I confirm that this number appears to be used for various scams.
