Application that has stopped working

Hello,
I'm new and not very skilled with computers. Let me explain my issue: I downloaded an application called "FacilOrdys" for my child, who is struggling in school and it was recommended by the occupational therapist.
The download completed successfully, the application installed, but when I try to open it, it tells me that it has stopped working and that I need to close the file. I have a Fujitsu Lifebook from 2009 with Windows 7.
Thank you for your help, as my son is feeling desperate.

Hello,
After doing a little digging, I read that the software is compatible with Windows 7 32 and 64 bit, but there are no further details regarding other hardware specifications that would be required (RAM, processor, graphics card...).
Since this is paid software, I cannot experiment on my Windows 7 virtual machine.
I see no other solution than to contact support if it exists or to reach out to the author at their contact email address.-
Try checking the help center, phone, chat, or FAQ:

Thank you for your quick reply, I will try to see and keep you informed.

It is also possible quite "simply" that in the absence of third-party security software (to specify), the Windows firewall prohibits the execution of the program.
Try allowing it or temporarily disabling the firewall (the image on my end is not illustrative, it is intentionally disabled).
Hello, here is the feedback I received .... They are funny, I can't afford to buy another one.
I received a response from the publisher confirming what I thought.
Your PC is 15 years old and is running an operating system that has not been supported for several years.
You can try completely uninstalling Facil'Ordys and reinstalling it, and launching the software ONLY AFTER a system restart, making sure that no software is running at the same time.
Nevertheless, nothing guarantees that it will work on such an old machine.
The best advice I can give you would be to get a newer computer.-
Hello,
This application cannot be installed on a PC that is too old (2009). After all, it is 2024, and it is also paid.

Hello,
They are cute, but I found on facil'ordys/kardi, I don't remember so much as it's poorly documented (see in <1>) that apart from other hardware deficiencies (RAM...) the software was compatible with all versions of Windows 7, so it wouldn't be the operating system itself that is at fault.
We need to check (is there documentation provided with the purchase of the software? They are particularly stingy about that) if these hardware specifications are mentioned and if they are being met, and if so, get back to the contact, specifying that their curt response is not enough, as the software is indeed intended for Windows 7. -

Hello, thank you for your help. I received this by email after my purchase:
Guide:
First of all, we recommend downloading the complete installation and user guide for Facil'Ordys:

- Download instructions:
You can download the Facil'Ordys software using the following links:

Hello,
In the Event Viewer (By right-clicking on Computer > Manage)
In Windows Logs > Applications
Following the failed execution, is there an error related to it?
Maybe it could just confirm that the system is too old?-
I got an introductory message about Unity while being a test subject (halted by the activation key), so the software was programmed using Unity.
It remains to be seen, as I understand nothing about it, whether Unity itself has requirements outside of Windows 7 after installation without issues regarding the operating system or libraries, which would de facto make it incompatible with Windows 7 and what should have been indicated by the publisher, who seems rather inexperienced and not up to this challenge.
