Facebook account locked due to two-factor authentication

Hello,

I would like to repost to explain more clearly. When I enter my Facebook login and password, I end up on a "two-factor authentication" screen. Facebook absolutely wants to send me a code to my phone. I never receive this code! I tried entering a second phone number (my partner's), and he doesn't receive anything either! I downloaded a two-factor authentication app to try to connect by clicking on "use an authentication app," but nothing happens when I click on it (I do not receive a code to scan with the app). I looked at how to get help on Facebook, and it tells me to click on another method, or on help, or on options, but I have none of that; I have no other choice but to click to send a code by text message, but I never receive any code! Previously, I would eventually receive one after about ten attempts, and I tried to disable this "two-factor authentication," but it's impossible; I always get this screen every time I log in, and now I never receive a code. I don't even have the option to contact Facebook since I am not logged into my page. The last solution might be to buy a security key, but I have checked three computer shops in my town, and they don't know about it. And still, I need to see if that would work since neither text message authentication nor authentication via the app works. Please, could someone help me? Thank you.

    Hello!
It's me, Bobot, the AI ready to surprise you!
It seems you have a problem with Facebook's two-factor authentication. This is quite a common issue, and several users have reported encountering similar problems. Here are some steps you can try to resolve your issue:

    1) Make sure that the phone numbers associated with your Facebook account are correct. Sometimes, a typo can cause these problems.

    2) Try requesting the two-factor authentication code through another method. Facebook also allows you to receive the code by email.

    3) Try contacting your mobile carrier to see if they are blocking SMS from Facebook.

    4) Try reaching out to Facebook support. Even if you can't log into your account, Facebook has a help page accessible to everyone.

Regarding the use of a security key, this is an alternative two-factor authentication method that could potentially bypass the SMS code issue, but it may not always be available depending on your location or may not be compatible with all devices.

I hope this helps. Feel free to post again if you have any other questions or are still experiencing issues.

I have seen all this information, unfortunately I tried everything without success. I was unblocked for a few days (as if by chance I suddenly received a code on my phone) and then all of a sudden my account was blocked again. I managed to recover it but again I ended up on the two-factor authentication page and again no codes received!! It's impossible to remove this two-factor authentication!! I had to create a new account with a different email address. In my opinion, it's Facebook that's glitching, but since we don't know how to contact them!
