Hello,

I reinstalled DVD Shrink after a malfunction of my PC, which was repaired by a pro, but now I can't launch this application ... I'm using Windows 10, do I need to unblock something regarding Microsoft? Could it be that Windows Security is blocking it?

Thank you for your help

Hello,

The solution is here:

https://fr.techtribune.net/comment/desactiver-la-prevention-de-lexecution-des-donnees-dep-pour-un-programme-particulier/312998/

After disabling DEP for DVD Shrink, it works again!

Best regards

Hello,

I just tried this software that I hadn't used for a while and I have the same problem.

Mystery! I'll look into it tomorrow, it's getting late...

Best regards

Hello spiralio,

I followed the instructions but I'm stuck at step 6 when I have to

"access the Program Files folder, search for the .exe file of the program "

I'm in System 32 and I have a bunch of applications

I don't see anything that looks like Program Files or dvdshrink.exe

Can you tell me a bit more?

Thank you

Finally, I found it! ... while looking at the photo of the windows, I noticed that I was in windows32 when I should have been in Program Files!

While searching, I eventually found it by adapting the statement a few times and finding the famous DVD Shrink.

Thank you very much, spiralio, and good luck!

Goodbye

Soonpah
