Srttrail.txt Windows 10 won't boot anymore

Hello,

I also have the blue screen problem due to the infamous file ....srttrail.txt since yesterday. I've already tried most of the suggested tricks:

- "Advanced Options > Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Settings > reboot > Option 7 Disable driver signature enforcement"

- "bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot" via the command prompt

- booting in safe mode

None of them work, and I end up in the same situation each time: restarting in a loop.
This is an Acer 7750ZG laptop that I bought with Windows 7 and upgraded to Windows 10 a few months ago. I left for the day, and when I came back, there was this blue screen, and apparently it must have done an update while I was away...I don’t have a Windows installation/repair CD, and I don’t want to lose any data. I would like to know if there is a solution to fix the problem while protecting my data, please.

    Windows 10 Automatic Repair Bug

    Bug encountered following the last update of Windows 10 (version 10.0.10586) that took place during the last week of January 2016.

    Upon startup, the computer displays "Preparing Automatic Repair" then "Diagnosing your PC".

    Then the "Automatic Repair" screen appears, knowing that clicking on "restart" leads to an infinite loop. The only option is to click on "Advanced options".

    Automatic repair:

    This brings us to the "Choose an option" screen. Option 1 Continue "Exit and go to Windows 10" restarts the computer and brings it back to the previous screen. Option 3 is funny and should be complemented by the notion "Buy a Mac", leaving only option 2.

    "Reset this PC", I opted for this option after spending 3 hours looking for a solution to my problem. I tried command prompts following forum advice with

    sfc /scannow

    etc… After 3 hours of struggle, I cracked and opted to reset since my data was backed up and Windows had created a windows.old folder, just had to reinstall all the software I use.

    The problem is that by the end of the day, here we go again. The PC fails to start and we hit screen 1 again.
    Troubleshooting

    Below are the available advanced options. System restore is no longer feasible since I reset, there is no restore point available. For system image recovery, that's also a no-go, "Windows cannot find a system image on your computer." Regarding the command prompt, I tested various commands as mentioned above, but nothing worked. (I was also surprised that the prompt opens on X:\windows instead of C:\windows, according to some forums this is not a problem.)

    Changing settings... opens the BIOS; I didn’t dare make any changes. Settings allow you to restart by modifying Windows options, I had high hopes disabling malware protection, but after trying them all, none resolved the issue (I’m adding the screen at the end of the article for informational purposes).

    The System Restart Tool restarts the computer and provides a lead because during the restart, there is the message:

    Log file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

    But despite the lead, I couldn't find the solution.

    Below is the screen with the different settings available during the next restart.

    Monday, February 1, 2016 still no solution found knowing that I know I can reset again to back up my data then format and reinstall Windows 10, but that is the extreme solution I would like to avoid.
