Hello,
I can't scan with my CANON PIXMA MG2450 multifunction printer.
I installed it as described in the documentation. The print test went well, it prints quickly and well.
But when it comes to scanning, it's a disaster; it refuses to scan (whether with the provided program (on CD) or with Photofiltre)!
I get an error message:
Unable to communicate with the scanner. The USB cable may be unplugged or the scanner may be off. Check the status. The scanner driver will be closed. Code: 5,156,69
I just upgraded to Windows 10, when I was on Windows 8.1 it worked with Photofiltre; I didn't install the program provided (CD) with the printer...
What should I do?
Thank you.

But I had simply disabled the scanner (image acquisition device) when I tried to disable the webcam that was turning on unexpectedly...
The problem is therefore resolved, thank you anyway!
OK
You're welcome
