SMS notification sound volume

Good evening,

I bought a smartphone the day before yesterday, it's a Redmi Note 13... which runs on MIUI software and Android 13.

My problem: the notification signal for receiving an SMS is so quiet that I can barely hear it.

The sound settings for "notification," "alarm," and "ringtone" are working normally.

I accessed various settings by going through "settings," "messages," and up to "allow SMS," but when I got there, nothing regarding the sound...

Does anyone have a solution, or do you think it might be a misconfiguration by the manufacturer?

    Good evening,

    I think you need to go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Notification sound.

    And there you should be able to adjust the volume.

    Good evening... that's what I tried to do by varying the volume level in the notification settings... result: nothing

    I also tried going to the apps, then "messages" and up to "allow SMS"... result: nothing
