PC - Stuck on the Aorus Motherboard Screen at Startup

Hello,

Hello,
Since yesterday my PC, built 5 days ago by myself, is no longer starting up correctly. It gets stuck on the motherboard screen and nothing else happens.
I can access the BIOS.

My configuration:
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Elite AX V2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Socket AM4 + GPU (3.8GHz)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory module
GPU: RX6800 16GB GAM (XFX Speedster SWFT 319 RAD)
Power Supply: be quiet! System Power 10 750W
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB (with Win 11)

I have tested several things:
- Cleared the BIOS by removing the battery, and also reset the BIOS directly from the BIOS (just in case).
- Updated the BIOS with the latest version.
- Checked cables and connections

As a note, the computer was working perfectly at noon except for a small internet issue > an error whose name I obviously can't remember now that made web pages (Explorer and Chrome) crash and caused slight green aberrations on images and icons, but since my game was running perfectly I thought it might just be a poorly installed / outdated driver.

Hello,

it seems that this is related to storage or Windows. Try changing the location of your SSD (you have 2 slots).

If you have some storage lying around, try removing your SSD and installing Windows on that storage.

Ideally, you should have another PCIe SSD to clearly identify where the problem comes from.

Okay, so I tried to set the south on the second slot but nothing changed, still this logo.

I tried to install Windows via a USB stick but I can't boot from the USB even after removing the potentially dead SSD and disabling all other boot options. However, the USB is recognized and selected as the first boot device.

The best I managed to do otherwise is booting from the SSD itself (which has Windows but not through Windows). There I get to the auto repair program but it doesn’t start, no loading, no menu... nothing. So I'm not any further along.

I can format my SSD, it's not a problem; it's brand new and there's nothing on it except for 3 games and the saves. But since the key won't boot, I'm afraid I won't be able to install Windows anymore... Just to clarify, it's the same key I used for the first Windows installation 6 days ago (but with a new installation system, I wiped the previous one).

hello
"had slight green aberrations on the images and icons"
In addition to jumulka's response, I would also suggest dismantling and reassembling the graphics card to check that it is properly seated.

Sincerely

I think the graphics card was well installed because the game was running super smoothly (Dyson Sphere Program, which isn't exactly a crazy console game). In any case, I checked and it was properly installed, but thanks for the input.

Indeed, if you can't even boot from the USB key, it's going to be complicated.

"But with a new installation system, I erased the previous one" what does that mean? Did you redo the key?

Make sure that the BIOS is set to UEFI and that CMS compatibility is enabled. Try recreating the USB key.

As for the graphics card, even if it's a bit defective, it shouldn't interfere with the boot.

If it sticks on the logo, it could be the RAM, although if you can navigate in the BIOS... try unplugging/replugging; if there are 2 sticks, try with just one.

This problem of yours isn't easy.

yes, a new key exactly. to bring it back, I've tested everything and it works correctly (well it doesn't change my problem so that's not it)

for the case I didn't find it, though I have the "csm support" which is activated.

how do I check if I'm properly in uefi?

normally you should have a choice between UEFI mode or legacy, but by default it’s UEFI. the thing is, if you can't boot from something, we can't do much.

try creating a winpe usb > https://www.malekal.com/creer-live-cd-malekal-depanner-ordinateur/

Have you solved your problem, and if so, how? I have the same issue, brand new tower.
