PS5 not working, popping noise

Hello,

everyone, my PS5 burned out on its own a few days ago. In the middle of the night, loud popping noises woke me up and blew the fuses. It was the next day that I noticed it was the power cord that blew the console; every time there was a popping sound and a burnt smell. With another cord, there’s no noise, so everything is normal. I had it for 7 months; it was standing upright!!! Bought from Cdiscount. My question is, is this a problem with liquid metal or a faulty power cord? I don’t know what happened… Sony is calling me back next week for the next steps....
