Question about transferring data PS4 to PS5

Hello, I recently switched to PS5 because my PS4 had corrupted data and wouldn’t turn on anymore.

The issue is that I want to download a single-player game (Red Dead 2) on my PS5, but this game, I had played on my PS4 and it had corrupted data.

So I was wondering if I can download my Red Dead save data from my PS4 to my PS5 without risk, or if I should avoid it to prevent corrupting my PS5?
