Fog filter screen

Solved/Closed

Good evening,

I accidentally did something with a shortcut (which I don't know since I wasn't looking at my keys...) that triggered a "racing" mode. Since then, I have a sort of "fog" filter effect on my screen, and I can't find anything about this "racing" mode online.

If anyone has a solution, I would be grateful.

Sincerely,

It seems that you accidentally activated a mode or setting on your screen that caused an undesirable visual effect. The "racing mode" could be a specific setting of your monitor or graphics card. Here are some steps to try to resolve the issue:

1. **Check Monitor Settings**:
   - Examine your monitor's settings. Many monitors have buttons or an on-screen menu that allows access to various modes and settings (like game mode, cinema mode, etc.). Check if "racing mode" is one of those settings and try disabling it.

2. **Check Graphics Card Settings**:
   - If you are using a PC, check the settings of your graphics card. Nvidia, AMD, and Intel all have graphics card management software that may include display mode settings. Check if a setting has been accidentally changed.

3. **Keyboard Shortcuts**:
   - It is possible that you activated this mode via a keyboard shortcut. Try repeating some key combinations to see if it disables the mode. Common combinations include function keys (F1-F12) with the Alt or Ctrl key.

4. **Reset Monitor Settings**:
   - If you cannot find the specific setting, you can try resetting your monitor to its factory settings. This option is usually available in the monitor's setup menu.

5. **Check Computer Resolution and Display Settings**:
   - Check your operating system's display settings. Make sure the resolution is set correctly and that no special visual effects are enabled.

6. **Consult Manual or Support**:
   - If the above steps do not work, consult your monitor's or graphics card's manual for specific information about display modes. You can also contact the manufacturer's technical support for assistance.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be helpful to provide additional information about the brand and model of your monitor or computer, as this could help identify more specific solutions.

A parameter had indeed been changed via the AMD application. Everything has returned to normal.

Thank you for your help.
