Hello everyone,
I am having problems with FIREFOX regarding bookmarks.
The "bookmark" tab at the top of the screen disappears every day.
And each time I have to open the application menu,
Go to additional tools,
Customize the toolbar,
Then choose between the toolbar and menu bars with a selection of the themes I'm interested in.
Unfortunately, I have to do this again as this manipulation is not stable over time.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it doesn't change: still unstable.
Does anyone know how to restore the bookmark function to working order?
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Note: In 2022, the reader FABUL had given me a hint that I followed, but it didn’t work.

Hello,

Which version of Firefox do you have installed?

The latest version to download and install is 120.0.1

Hello,

I'm not the problem.

There are different ways to display bookmarks

-recent or all from the Burger menu-Bookmarks
-in the left navigation pane via View-Side Panel-Bookmarks
-in the settings, it's a bit convoluted, search, show suggestions, bookmarks

-By display, toolbar, personal toolbar, show, but as its name suggests, these are the bookmarks from the personal toolbar that we will have under the address bar, each to their own preferred place for bookmarks
-Finally, getting them to the left of the address bar doesn't require any sophisticated manipulation: just drag the "bookmarks menu" from the toolbar customization and drop it to the left of the address bar.

Note, as I mentioned, that we can have surprises if bookmarks are mixed up in personal toolbar, bookmarks, other bookmarks; I find it important to organize them well.

As for me, I’m fine with having them in the bookmarks menu, from where I can open them without losing what I'm doing from a second tab, but to each their own...

Hello,

The "bookmark" tab at the top of the screen disappears every day. Every time, I have to open the application menu.

If your problem persists:

==► Create a new Firefox profile

Using the profile manager (In 3 clicks).

You will restart Firefox with a clean and healthy base.

And right-click anywhere at the top of Firefox to display the menu bar and the bookmarks bar.

This will display among other things the Bookmarks tab in Firefox, which should remain anchored to the menu bar.

Info:

Uninstalling Firefox does not delete your profile, except with a complete uninstallation done, for example, with Revo or similar software.

Another solution is to tidy up with ResetBrowser

And make sure to follow the guide:

Precaution: Backup Firefox Bookmarks
