Epson printer only prints on photo paper

Hello,

I'm struggling to solve a problem with my Epson XP-352 printer.

Simply put: I can't print on anything other than glossy paper (photo paper); if I use a standard A4 sheet, my prints come out blank.

I have often read about the problem in the reverse and haven't found an explanation for my case.

I have indeed chosen the correct settings on the printer, but nothing works; the only prints I can make are on photo paper only.

    It is indeed quite curious.

    -- Is this machine new..? And has it always had this quirk..?

    -- Or is it not new and has been doing this for a short time..?

    -- And when making a photocopy onto a plain A4 sheet, without using the PC... But only using the printer's buttons, what does it give..? with an original in black and white, then another rich in colors..??

    -- It is still possible to set "Photo Paper" and print on ordinary A4 paper...to be tested...

    -- How is it connected to the PC..? Brand and model..? and Windows version..?

    It will be possible to learn a bit more based on the answers.
