Inkjet photo paper on laser printer

Photo paper is generally treated: "Glossy" = covered with gloss, in fact a varnish that makes the paper shiny
There are other treatments, baryta, colored and aged appearance...... these, as well as any inkjet paper
are NOT INTENDED TO BE LASER BURNED, otherwise the gloss..... and other treatments will burn!!!!!
The photo itself will probably not look nice...

For a laser printer, you need to use paper for laser printers!
The temperature in a laser printer is much higher!

But is the opposite possible?

I came across this post somewhat by chance: I thought that photo paper for "inkjet" couldn't withstand the heat of a laser printer and that there were serious risks of damaging the printer. So, that wouldn't be the case?

Logically, you shouldn't have any major issues with inkjet paper under laser because the specific feature of this paper is to absorb the ink so that when it comes out, the ink doesn't smudge if you touch it (explained simply but effectively ^^)

So you can test it safely in my opinion.
