Hello,

On a a set of three DECT phones, I can perfectly make calls, but for incoming calls, when I pick up the phone, the message "impossible" appears.

Does anyone have the solution?

Equipment connected to an Orange pro BOX.

Essential B phones EB TS 13 SF R

Thank you in advance

    Hello,

As a first step, I invite you to reset the Box.

To do this, unplug the box for a minute, then plug it back in.

    Hello and thank you

but we had already done it,

So I took the base and an extension to try elsewhere on another site, on another box where a DECT phone works:

the same defect "impossible" also appears when I press the pick-up button.

It is therefore related to this "Essentiel B" DECT phone

Maybe I’m not seeing why and I'm skipping a step but I don't see the problem at all.

On a forum, I saw that someone had the same problem but they did not provide the explanation

    Sincerely

Among the icons displayed on the top row in the screenshot below:

    Hello,

This is an elderly person's phone, and I don't have it on hand to tell you which icons are lit or turned off.

So "this fault" does not come from a conflict with the Box.

It would be a fault of handling or programming of the device?

I have temporarily placed a DECT "gigaset," and the transition from ringing to conversation occurs as soon as the handset is lifted from its base.

Should it be the same on the "Essentiel B"?? The manual is with the device (25 km away).

    Best regards,

    Sincerely,

    The manual: https://boulanger.scene7.com/is/content/Boulanger/3497674168452_n_0

I am vainly searching the manual for the automatic pickup function (which doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist); one could imagine that if this function is active at the time of the call, the user pressing the "Pick Up" button could cause the issue.

Another possibility is misuse of the "Call Block" button at the time of the call, which could be confused with the "Pick Up" button (same engraving of a handset that picks up but in a (black shield).

Thank you to Baladur 13 for his interest in this issue.

The manual does not mention any "automatic" drop, on the contrary, regarding the button noted 12, it clearly states "during the ringing, press (this button) to answer a call."

The manual also specifies to contact www.boulager for the hotline, which I have not done yet, but nothing is certain that they will have the answer.

    Best regards

It is possible that the base is in a procedure with one of the three handsets and is therefore waiting for the end of this procedure to allow a call.

Have you tried unplugging the base's power supply, removing the batteries from all the handsets, and then turning everything back on afterward...? The power to the base has indeed been cut since you tried the phone elsewhere.

I also cannot find a way in the manual to reset the base or the handsets, which seems curious to me. Check if there is truly nothing in the menu.

    PROBLEM SOLVED:

Hello, I let the phones without batteries rest for 48 hours.

In fact, one unit was polluting the system.

By replacing the batteries of that unit with new ones, the problem disappeared.

The "bad" batteries show a correct voltage of 1.32 volts, so they are not easy to blame.

Hoping this can help those who come across this discussion. Best regards.

    Thanks to Baladur13!!!

    In fact, more explanations:

Actually, one station was polluting the system: evidently, a station remained "stuck" without marking the occupied line, which is why the message was impossible to take the call since the system was not fully free.

This is just my interpretation !!!!.

The essential is achieved, the phone is operational again...

      Thank you for the feedback.
