Hello,
You also need to think a little... you just need to have a USB HUB...
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hub_USB
Here is an example. https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00182056.html
You still need to see if it's USB-3 or USB-2 or something else and what it supports...?
That said, I'm afraid that USB-2 won't provide enough power for a "hard drive"... so you need a version with a power adapter...
Thank you for your response. If a Wi-Fi USB key can work with an external hard drive, a hub could do the trick. I checked online, Wi-Fi keys are recognized under Windows, but the Vu+ set-top box has a Linux Enigma 2 OS. I need to know what type of key could be installed on the box. There are driverless keys available, but I'm not sure if they can be compatible. Thank you for sharing your experiences with me.
Best regards.
Hello,
Here is a link for a USB Wifi adapter... linux.

Generally, these adapters are automatically managed by the OS in place... This one is well-suited for Linux... so it handles itself?
That said, your DVB has a wired RJ45 connection, and I won't hide my preference for this connection mode, which is very efficient, even at long distances, and insensitive to interference (or eavesdropping), which is somewhat the fate of Wifi.
It's up to you to decide... but yes, it works on a (USB Hub, disk, keyboard, mouse, USB stick...) if this HUB has its own power supply... on the USB-2 port, it's clearly stated 5 volts 0.5 Amps... That's too little.
