Demo/decoder not recognizing the WiFi key

I've been trying to solve my problem for a week now but I can't: I bought a demo/decoder abroad from the brand ibox and to get more channels I was advised to buy a Wi-Fi dongle. When I got back to France, I bought a Netgear N300 Wi-Fi USB Mini Adapter. I installed it on my computer (I followed the instructions) and in the end, it says that my dongle is connected to my Wi-Fi network. So I plug it into my demo/decoder but it doesn't recognize it. I tried plugging in other dongles and it recognizes them.

What is the exact model of your decoder? You cannot add a wifi USB stick to your decoder, it’s not a PC, so you can keep it for a desktop PC but it will be of no use for your decoder. However, it is possible that you can connect a network cable to it or that the wifi is built-in, if it's not too far from your ADSL box. (There are inexpensive solutions available to also transmit the network through electrical current.)
