Thomson TV Problems

Solved

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my Thomson 48fs3003 television since yesterday. There's a square with buttons popping up at the bottom right of my screen. I know it's related to the buttons on the back of the TV, but I can't figure out why it's doing that. The little square appears and disappears randomly (flickering), and even touching the buttons on the back doesn't help.

What should I do? Is the TV broken then?

I am getting back to you.

I think I have solved the problem: At the back of the TV, you have a small box with 5 buttons (4 arrows and a switch) that looks very much like the small square that appears on the screen.

I then removed the back of the TV to access this small box in order to take it out.

And everything works correctly!

Now it's your turn,

G.

Thank you for the information. I will try even though it's a bit of a hassle to have to take apart the TV...

Have a good evening

This seems to correspond to some settings on the TV. You should be able to disable this panel. Use the remote control to do so.

The problem is that as soon as I use the remote control and I want to go into the menus, this square makes me go back. So going into the menus is almost impossible since once again it makes me go back.

You must have done something risky to end up like this!... This menu didn't just appear by itself, did it?

No, I haven't touched anything and it appeared suddenly, and the menu doesn't stay fixed on the TV, it flickers as if someone were using a remote control to make it show then disappear.

I have exactly the same problem, have you found a solution? If so, what is it?

As for me, I reset the television to factory settings and nothing works...

Hello,

It had gone away, I don't know how, but it has come back today... I don't know what caused it, and it's really frustrating.
